February 20th 2013 Meeting

The February 2013 meeting will begin at 7pm in the Dewitt
Community Room.

This month we welcome Tom Huges into our club to talk about many of the amazing native fish species.
We will be accepting early submissions to the CNYAS Aquatic Photo Contest, if you did not get a copy of the rules at the meeting you can click here.
After our program there will be a short intermission and the meeting will conclude with our usual mini auction.
The bowl show is still on hiatus and will return in March.

11am when the auction promptly begins.

The issue with the online payment for memberships through paypal has been resolved.

The BAP Report form has been shortened to 1 page and is now available online.
Our Writers award program has changed slightly and these changes are reflected in both the new handbook and our WAP page.
The updated member handbook is also now available.

Writers Award Program Revision
Under Awards:
Pen & Quill Award: Participants must achieve the Wordsmith Award and accumulate 400 points, at least 240 of
which are from the basic point rules. To complete the requirements needed to earn this level, ONE of the following
conditions must be met AFTER 400 points have been
achieved.
1. Participants must have at least (2) articles reprinted
in another club’s publication.
2. Participants must have (1) article reprinted in another club’s publication and 2 articles printed in the REFLECTOR.
3. Participants must have (4) articles printed in the REFLECTOR. These must be articles, not committee reports, pictures, etc.

The October 2012 program is to be announced.
The October Bowl Show will have a Corydora and Open class. The usual mini auction, raffle, and festivities will follow.

This month we also have our New CNYAS T-Shirts for sale in Small,
Medium, Large, and Extra Large for $15.
